The miracle of dread extensions! They last for about 3 months and look like dreads the first day that you get them. Made with synthetic hair (dreads better), they dry quickly and aren’t as heavy as human hair. (don’t get me wrong, they’re still heavy.)  But if you don’t want to commit to a hairstyle for more than a couple of months, this is a good way to skip around the permanence of dreadlocks. This is Mike and his dreads are about a year and 1/2 old. All the fly aways don’t account for handsome dreads, so he came to me to help clean them up.

 And these are the same dreads with a little tender love and care…

I use the crochet method to take all the outgrown hair and weave it back into the dreads. Making them nice and tidy.
